President Barack Obama is facing criticism after using a podium and teleprompter to address the media in a sixth grade classroom.
President Obama, accompanied by Education Secretary Arne Duncan, spoke to the media after a discussion with sixth grade students at Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Virginia. Continued with Video below...
Although Obama was not speaking to the students from the podium, questions are being asked as to why the president needed a teleprompter to address the media.
What many are interpreting as a gaffe comes at a difficult time for Obama as a Zogby poll in the Washington Times shows that only 43% of Americans would vote to re-elect the president, 10% lower than the number that put him into office just over a year ago.
That disappointing poll comes hot on the heels of the the Republican party's surprise victory in Edward Kennedy's Massachusetts senate seat last week.
Republican Scott Brown won a bitter race on Wednesday, dealing a stunning blow to Obama's legislative agenda and casting doubt on the fate of his sweeping healthcare overhaul .

Ah...the racism label. Its used practically everyday now. I hear it more now than I did in the 60s.
I didnt get into all the colleges I applied for. I settled for my second choice & graduated from a State University. If that were you - it would be racism. And yes...I paid for it ALL by myself.
I didnt get the first house I wanted. nope, I had to clean up my credit wait a year & buy a smaller house. If that were you, it would be racism.
I havent always got the job I wanted. I had to keep pounding the pavement, get smarter, work harder & never give up. If it were you - it would be racism.
I didnt like the last president either. he lied about war, passed laws that dessimated our constitution. tortured innocent people & wrecked our economy. But now I dont like the criminal before me Obama - its racism.
I didnt appreciate the bully cop that gave me a ticket, lectured me, threatened me & nearly arested me for not wearing a seat belt because I questioned him. He was a jerk. If it were you, it would be racism.
In a world of Affirmative Action, NAACP, ACLU, equal housing, government backed minority programs for education, housing, business and jobs.........and with private black colleges, beauty pageants, tv stations, awards ceremonies, holidays, magazines, political groups, scholarships, churches, clothing lines & shoes....not to mention the lopsided hate crime laws - you'd think racism was pretty contained.
Nope, disagree with a black person - you're racist. its that simple to the liberal left or crazy right. Damned if you do, damned if you dont. Racist whitey. Do you feel the guilt trip yet? 6 letters that changed the USA forever.

Hilarious. Spin it all you want, this idiot cannot talk and think at the same time
someone ELSE forms his opinions,
someone ELSE puts them on screen
and someone ELSE says "Come on boy, Speak! that's it... patience... now jump up for your treat.."
and he does

Just one more time for the koolaid drinkers here:
Setting up a podium in a sixth grade classroom-complete with teleprompter-makes what you say seem less than ingenuous.
I think the point being made here is that B O can't even speak after a photo op with children without a teleprompter.
If this were the former administration, mainstream media would be all over it, every day.
Defending something your boy does everyday in situations that a normal person would not, makes you both a laughing stock!

Just one more time for the non-learners here:
Obama was speaking IN a sixth grade clasroom, he wasn't speaking TO the sixth graders; he was speaking to you and me.
BTW: Bush used a telepromter throughout his term, and they were first used in 1952!
We know you don't like the current president. Whether it is racism or just a difference of governance remains to be seen.
Making fun of something your boy king also did makes you a laughing stock.
